Athletes of the Month!

Congratulations to Ellen S. and James F. For they are CFTE Co- Athletes of the Month for March!  We mixed it up a little bit – check out what they had to say!

Ellen S.
When and how did you get started with us?
I started in January 2016 with the 6 week challenge.

Favorite workout?
I love the wods with constant change in exercises and movements.

Least favorite workout?
I don’t really have a least favorite but I’m a huge fan of wods that are only barbell work.

What’s the best part about working out with the 7pm?
I love my 7pm crew! We always have a great time and motivate each other.  The coaches are great and push me to do my best.

What’s the wallpaper on your phone right now?
An ocean wave.

What’s your overall experience been like here at CFTE?
I’m not very good with change and trying new things.  So when my interview for the 6 week challenge came around I almost didn’t show up.  I have never been more thankful that I stepped outside of my comfort zone.  CFTE has totally changed my life. I have never loved working out so much since playing high school sports.  I look forward to going everyday that I can. Not only have I gotten myself into great shape, built muscle, and lost weight, I have met some amazing people and made new friends.  To all the coaches, you have been so helpful, patient, and motivating.  You have made me push myself to be better at everything I do. I’m not a confident person, but you all make me feel good about myself during and after each and every class. CFTE is truly an amazing environment and encourages me to push myself and work hard every time I walk in. I am a stronger person physically and mentally than I have ever been in my life!

James F.
When and how did you get started with us?
I got started when I saw a 6 week challenge ad on social media.

Favorite workout?
My favorite work out are anything with pulls ups and bar muscle ups and snatches!

Least favorite workout?
I hate back squats cause I suck at them but always work on them

What’s the best part about working out with the 5pm?
My favorite part of the 5pm class is it’s usually not overcrowded and goodr way to start the evening 

What’s the wallpaper on your phone right now?
The wallpaper is just a generic apple wallpaper of the planet Jupiter

What’s your overall experience been like here at CFTE?
My overall experience has been extremely positive it had inspired me to be a better version of me and healthier. It has made a lifestyle change for me and I don’t miss certain foods, alcohol, etc. I actually have a want to be fit and healthy for the first time!
