Congratulations to Krysta Cento as she is CFTE July Athlete of the Month! Krysta is 21 years old and played soccer, lacrosse, basketball, cross country in high school. She started going to the gym/working out on her own at 16. She currently plays lacrosse at Drew University in Madison, NJ. Krysta has been a member with us for 2 months and each and every time she shows up; she brings with her positive energy, the will to become a better version of herself, and encourages others.
We asked Krysta what her experience is like as an Athlete here at CrossFit Total Empowerment, and here is what she had to say:
“After only two months at CrossFit Total Empowerment I cannot see myself at another gym or following any other type of workout program. Being an athlete all of my life, I always enjoyed running and going to the gym. I always thought I was in good shape, but I was determined to further improve my fitness. I knew joining CrossFit would allow me to reach my fitness goals and I fell in love with CrossFit Total Empowerment immediately. In two short months my strength, speed, flexibility, and endurance levels all significantly improved. Most importantly, I am more motivated and determined than ever to push myself to the next level. All of this would not be possible without the help and support from the coaches at CFTE. Every day, the coaches provide me with personal insight on how to improve my form, while also encouraging me to expect more from myself and to never give up. The encouragement from the coaches, as well as other members, is something that I am grateful for every class. My experience here has quickly made me obsessed with CrossFit so much that I hope to compete one day. I am in better shape than I ever imagined and I cannot wait to continue improving my fitness here at CFTE.” – KC
“Thank you so much for this recognition, it’s truly truly an honor!!” – KC
And it is an honor to coach you each and every day. Thank you for being a part of our community and for “showing up” always and in all ways!
